Dr. Yonker was friendly and professional. He took the time to explain what was happening with my vision and my options for correction. He has the latest technology which provides a more thorough exam and a comfortable experience for patients. I did not have to deal with the puffs of air in my eyes or the hassles associated with dilation. Additionally, I usually fill my eyewear prescription at places where the cost is considerably cheaper than what most optometrists’ offices charge but Dr. Yonker’s office had a large selection of frames that I liked that were the same price I would pay at my preferred places. I wear progressives and appreciate the staff educating me on the options available ( I thought there was only one.) I like the convenience of being able to get my exam and eyewear in the one visit.

Thought I needed new glasses, couldn’t see close up or far distance. Nope the Doctor and Technician found the answer after an excellent exam. My glasses needed to be adjusted to sit properly closer higher up to my eyes and now I see like I did before. Will go back when I need new lenses.

Carly was very professional and welcoming when I arrived at TSO. This was the first time that I have had to order glasses for myself and she ensured that my visit went smoothly. She is very knowledgeable about insurance coverage and made the paperwork process easy. They have a great selection of frames! I chose Kate Spade and Tom Ford and I love them! I would highly recommend this location for your optical needs!

TSO Cedar Park, and Dr. Yonker in particular, provided without a doubt the best,
most refreshing experience I’ve had with an optometrist, including other TSO
locations (which were good as well). I learned new things about the human eye, and
about my own eyes, my current contacts and my new prescription. He invested the
time to make sure we found exactly the right prescription and contact brand, where I’d
characterize many previous experiences as settling for good enough. Walking in, I
thought I was seeing clearly, just needing to re-up the prescription I had – until I
walked out and realized what I’d been missing. I really cannot recommended highly
enough, even recommending that my parents consider coming in from Georgetown to
see Dr. Yonker.

My experiences with Texas State Optical Cedar Park have been excellent. Dr. Yonker
is very thorough with my exams and definitely qualified with latest technology to provide the best fit for my presbyopia issues. I have purchased progressive lenses elsewhere and have had problems focusing clearly. Spending money on glasses you are unable to see with, is very disappointing and expensive! “This doctor knows what he is doing”. I have also encountered ill fitting frames as well. Carly was very helpful assisting me with my glasses selection and fit. I would definitely recommend this Texas State Optical Doctor and facility to my friends and family.
